CCMA VISTA Positions Open
CCMA is excited to announce that we have 34 AmeriCorps VISTA projects for 2021-2022 that will do anti-poverty work in our communities. Many of these projects are currently recruiting candidates, and we encourage you to share these opportunities with people who may be interested in them.
AmeriCorps VISTA members go where they are needed most with passion and perseverance to be a catalyst for change. It is an opportunity to live and work alongside community members to meet our nation’s most pressing poverty challenges and advance local solutions. CCMA VISTA projects are generally partnerships between institutions of higher education and nonprofit organizations within the region, and focus on education, health and food security, economic opportunity, and veterans and military families.
To meet some of the VISTA members and see some of the projects currently being worked on, see our CCMA VISTA bios and abstracts page. CCMA VISTA Leaders Jake Hurner and Tavon Johnson are happy to answer any questions you may have.
