CCMA Seeks New VISTA Program Manager

April 6, 2021

The VISTA Program Manager is responsible for the management and oversight of our regional AmeriCorps VISTA program, an anti-poverty initiative focused on building the capacity of campuses — together with their community partners — to strengthen communities. The VISTA grant is a core part of CCMA’s collective impact initiative, is central to institutional member engagement, and supports the organization’s mission, vision, and values and commitment to advancing equity. The VISTA Program Manager is responsible for all aspects of managing VISTA member recruitment and orientation; host site development and support; monitoring, compliance, reporting, and general operations; ensuring all programmatic and financial activities comply with federal grant guidelines and the expectations of our program sponsor, the Corporation for National and Community Service (CNCS).

The VISTA Program Manager supports an AmeriCorps VISTA cohort of approximately 35-40 members who serve at our member campuses and partner organizations; communicates regularly with a broad set of stakeholders; plans and executes multiple events for member and supervisor development; supervises two VISTA Leaders, providing coaching and mentoring while overseeing their day-to-day activities. The Program Manager is part of a dynamic, high-collaboration staff team which works to provide the highest level of service to all CCMA stakeholders, including members, community partners, donors, and government agencies. This position reports to the Executive Director.
